Che Cos'è

Ingredienti Principali
Estratto di Castagna
L'Estratto di Castagna è ottenuto dall'Ippocastano. Coltivato originariamente in Asia e nel nord della Grecia, questo albero produce frutti avvolti da un guscio spinoso che ricorda quello di una noce. Questo estratto è utilizzato per migliorare la funzione barriera della pelle, aiutandola a ripristinare e preservare i suoi lipidi.
Vitamina Cg
La vitamina Cg, o Ascorbyl Glucoside, è un derivato della vitamina C che si attiva quando è assorbito dagli strati superiori della pelle. Questa forma di vitamina C dalle proprietà antiossidanti, è spesso utilizzata nei trattamenti antirughe, per aiutare a ridurre rughe del viso nel tempo.
Caffeina

A GREAT FACIAL MOISTURISER
This is a great product. I have normal - oily facial skin and it has become a lot less shiny since I started using this product a month ago. My girlfriend recommended Kiehl's as she has been using their products for years. Facial Fuel smells great, is easily absorbed, leaves no shine / residue and is light enough not to clog pores and to let the skin breathe. It smells great too and has a 'wakening' effect when applied to the face. Apply this moisturiser day and night after you have washed and toned your face and within a few weeks you will see the overall appearance of your skin improve dramatically.

A great all-around mosturiser!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given a sample of this to try and I have been using it for about 2 weeks now.
I use this product in combination with Kiehl's facial fuel energising face wash (phew, what a long name) as recommended.
This mosturiser comes in a gel form/texture which makes it easy to apply on the skin. I normally use an amount approximately to the size of a 20p coin which I think is not a lot.
I have a mixed combination oily and dry skin type. When I was using other brands/products, I felt like they were 'coating' on top of my skin and as result my pores felt clogged. My face also tend to look oily/shiny which is a nuisance. In comparison, this mosturiser sinks in to the skin and does not make my face feels oily/shiny. It also lasts for a long time - throughout the day.
The cons with this product I think is the price. However, if you want something that works, you may have to pay a little bit more, right? The other thing which I think people may disagree with me is the menthol smell of this mosturiser which can be a bit overwhelming for some men.
All in all, I think this mosturiser is great and does it job but the price and smell may hinder some people from trying it out.

Feels worth it
I bought this last week after a lot of deliberation and independent review reading to add to my daily routine (along with the Faciel Fuel Cleanser). It is easily the most I've ever spent on a grooming product, and it felt a bit painful clicking the purchase button, but I do not regret it. Unmoisturized I suffer from dry skin on my nose and cheeks, and oily skin on my forehead. This moisturizer takes it all in it's stride, leaving my skin feeling supple, smooth, and thanks to some sort of menthol affect, awake. Having only been using it for a couple of days I can't comment on breakout control or anything, but as it's a moisturizer I don't suppose it would have much effect on that. Hopefully the masque will when it arrives...

Very good product that used to be unbeatable.
This is very good moisturizer and I still use it because it is better than the many others I have tried.
However, it used to be an unbeatable five-star product, so far ahead of the competition it was unthinkable to buy anything else.
Sadly, Kiehl's have changed it, not radically, but noticeably, and the gap between the number one spot and second place has drastically narrowed.
The product feels more watery than it used to, and does not go as far.
I asked someone at Kiehl's about this and they said that yes, the formula had indeed been changed.
Alas, why change something you had perfect?
The price has increased quite a bit, and us long-time 'Kiehlians' still cough up, now if only they wouldn't also make it less good.
I have read numerous other reviews, from people who have tried the older kind and this changed version, and it seems there is a consensus.
So, I shall keep buying it, as I do with other Kiehl's products, but whereas before it didn't even occur to me to try other moisturizers, now I find myself exploring the tester pots at men's counters.

Perfect for OCD
Well, for anyone who have a whining OCD husband reject all sticky facial products, this is perfect for him. You will have a quite life and he is happy with more moisturised skin.

Basically, it does what it promises.
I tend to have dry skin on my chin and cheeks, and oily skin on my nose. For the last 20 years I have been using the Clinique M lotion product which was great for the dry skin but always left my nose feeling oily. I have found that the Facial Fuel seems to sort both problems in one.
While it isn't cheap, for me it does the job and does it well with the added benefit of leaving your face feeling fresh.
